カシオペア☆タイム 在り方生き方を考える③

総合的な探究の時間「カシオペア☆タイム」は最終局面である在り方生き方を考えます。1年間の探究活動を通して、自分はどうあるべきか、どう生きるべきか・・・今回は本校の進路指導資料「師弟和熟」から先輩たちの遺してくれた「自己推薦書」を分担して精読し、主旨を発表しあい、そして自己推薦書を準備するというものです。
自分自身をメタ認知することが必要です。

Creating Our Better Selves in the Future #2
 
This is our 3rd lesson for the final stage of “Cassiopeia ☆Time.”
Based on the skills acquired in their research projects over the past year, students will ask themselves what kind of people they should be and how they will lead their lives. In this class, they read examples of personal essays for universities by past graduates of Morioka Kita High School, which appear in the data book of career guidance, “Shi Tei Wa Juku.” Each student read one of the essays, summarized and shared what they had learned with other group members. Through this lesson, they could start thinking about what kind of essay they could write or what their own strengths were. Here, students need to be in meta-cognition state.

先輩たちの遺してくれた「自己推薦書」からその主旨を発表し合います。発表者の「まとめる力」、そして聴き手の「傾聴力」が問われます。

Each student needs to summarize a personal essay, which is required in some university application forms. Therefore, they can get the skills to grasp the main point, present it to their peers and listen to the others.

ここで生きるのが毎時間リフレクションで行ってきた「R80」。読解力やまとめる力、そしてそれを表現する力を鍛えてきました。

In “Cassiopeia ☆ Time,” students have tried the “R80” method for their reflection after every workshop in order to develop their reading, summarizing and expressing skills this school year.

そしてテキストを使って自己推薦書にチャレンジします。在り方生き方を考えるためにはメタ認知能力が不可欠。だからこの1年間、探究を続けてきました。

Using a textbook, students can try to write their own personal essay to the university they want to enter. The ability of meta-cognition is necessary to think about how to create their better selves in the future.
