１月28日（日）、東京国際大学池袋キャンパスTIUホールにて行われた全国高等学校ビブリオバトル決勝大会に本校１年の田畑心さんが岩手県代表として出場してきました。ビブリオバトル（書評合戦）とは、５分間で本を紹介するプレゼンテーションを行い、それに対するディスカッションを行った後、参加者全員が「どの本を読みたくなったか」を基準に一人一票投票してチャンプ本を決めるというものです。田畑さんは、川村元気さんの著書「世界から猫が消えたなら」を紹介し、この本が思春期の自分にいかに影響を与えたかを手紙をキーワードに紹介しました。

The 10th National High School "Biblio Battle of the Year" was held on Sunday, January 29th 2024 at TIU Hall of Tokyo International University.  Tabata Shin from 1st grade of Morioka Kita SHS attended this battle as the representative of Iwate Prefecture.  He gave a presentation about his favorite book, "If Cats Disappeared from the World" written by Kawamura Genki.  His key phrases to summarize this book is "a letter to someone important", and he passionately described how much the book affected him as a teenager.
